Absolutely LOVE this place!!!! I have been coming consistently since they opened 11 yrs ago and I have never been disappointed. The food is absolutely incredible the service is friendly and on top of it and the menus have something for everyone! From crepes to falafel or pizza you will be hyped!!! FYI you have to try the pita bread!!! It will ruin you for any other pita bread out there it's served warm hot and fluffy!!!! Prices are super reasonable and you're across the street from Bolsachicka Beach so you can enjoy the pita bread guilt free and walk it off on the bike path!!! I can't say enough great things about this place!!! Family owned, vegetarian and vegan options, real ingredients, family owned and operated and seriously some of the most quality food you can find in HB!!!

My wife and I have been coming to the Golden Olive for years it's very disappointing to see reviews that are lies on this page! Bullying a business because you car got towed is not nice. This family owned restaurant will forever be the heart of sunset beach! they have the best famous hot and fresh pitas. We ordered chicken and filet plate and chicken kabob plates very Delicious! Customer service was on point Anood our server was amazing. While we were seated outside enjoying our meals we heard yelling coming from customers in a different restaurant yelling at the owners of this restaurant due to towing. The sign in front of the restaurant says restricted parking due to the little parking space they have. The customers from the other restaurant park in there parking area when there plenty near the restaurant they are sitting at. Golden Olive thank you for the delicious meals and count on us to be back!

Not only was it cute, but also super puffy, soft to the right degree. When torn apart, it released a fragrant aroma, with light white steam rising, boosting my appetite to the maximum. I even ordered an extra to take home, wishing I could eat it every day. Best Pita Bread ever. Pairing the Pita Bread with rich and moderate, fresh "Hummus" (chickpea dip) is one of the common ways to eat chickpeas, usually used to dip celery and carrot sticks, but here, I am paired with Pita bread, it becomes very delicious. With Hummus added inside, the taste of the Pita bread is elevated just right, though the flavor is rich and heavy, the aroma stands out, the scent has an indescribable allure and magic. Tearing the Pita bread and spreading it with hummus, it's irresistibly delicious! I originally wanted to try the "Rice Pudding", a popular dessert in many countries and regions worldwide. The main ingredients are rice, milk, and sugar. Unfortunately, I arrived late that day, and it was sold out. Next time, I'll call ahead to reserve this dessert. Chicken and shrimp kabob platter = A+ The pita bread tastes like what I imagine manna would've tasted like back in Moses' day. Pros of social media: Orange County Reddit and the recommendations they give for certain food reccs. Sometimes I'm a little cautious because I know there's a lot of trolls out there who love being sarcastic so I made sure to confirm with Yelp first to look thru the menu and pictures prior to coming. Can't wait to come back with my husband! I learned that they've been open since Dec of 2013. It's great to see them doing well and providing such delicious food for the community.

I love their pita!!! When they remember to put it in your order, lol. My office orders from here about twice a week. We usually order from UberEats because the menu is different than Door Dash. The salad is always fresh! The pita is the best! Remember it is listed under "hot fresh bread" not under pita, just in case you're looking for it and can't find it. The rice pudding is hit and miss. I have never received it with pistachios on it even though the pic shows them. Lastly, make sure to be precise in your ordering because call in edits aren't always welcome.

First apologies for my late review. Golden olive is a place to try and after trying you just become loyal customer. The hummus tastes just like home (Lebanon), with their freshly baked bread (it is to die for) also their plates are big portions and not pricy, fresh meat/poultry packing flavor. Imad is always there to help and welcome you with the typical famous Mediterranean hospitality. The owner is so humble and very friendly, I highly recommend Golden Olive.
